In accordance with Matthew 28:18-20, the parish pastoral council will work with the pastor, in mutual support, to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations”, and build and sustain the parish as a living Catholic community. Members will promote pastoral activity through reflection, prayer, planning, coordination and action for relevant parish activities including faith formation, liturgy, social action, community outreach and evangelization.
The Parish Pastoral Council meets on a regular basis. If parishioners have any items that they would like raised and discussed by the Parish Council, please contact any council member (see members on the ministry list) or the parish office to arrange for the item to be placed on the meeting agenda. Parishioners are welcome to attend the meeting to personally present and participate in the discussion of the agenda item, if they wish. A reminder that minutes of all Parish Pastoral Council meetings are available at the back of the church. Anyone wishing to serve on parish pastoral council is asked to please contact the parish office.
