To mark the one-year anniversary of the publication of the Pastoral Letter on the use of social media, “Let Your Speech Always be Gracious,” authored by the Episcopal Commission of Justice and Peace and published with the permission of the Permanent Council on the feast of Saint Francis de Sales, 24 January 2024, the CCCB has launched a new video series and other resources to help readers – individually or in group settings – to unpack the rich pastoral and moral insights of the Pastoral Letter more fully.
The video series, in particular, responds to numerous requests by Catholic parishes, schools, and groups for a representative of the CCCB to deliver a presentation on the Pastoral Letter. With the approval of the Permanent Council, the video series was developed by the CCCB Communications Service in cooperation with the Senior Advisor for Theology and Social Doctrine, as well as the Office for Evangelization and Catechesis, and with videography services provided by Salt+Light Media. The presenters in the video series are Bishop Scott McCaig, C.C., (in English) and Bishop Pierre-Olivier Tremblay, O.M.I. (in French).
The video series and resources are located on a new webpage dedicated to the Pastoral Letter:

in French: https://www.cecc.ca/justice-
A press release announcing the video series and resources can be found on the CCCB website:
